Professional Experience
David Atkinson is an experienced international commercial hotel and hospitality professional who works with organisations helping them deliver superior results. He provides in-depth sales, marketing and development expertise, combined with extensive operational experience for both internationally branded and independent hotels, and broader travel and tourism companies in the EMEAI regions.
As well as guiding hotel owning companies through investment options with Feasibility Studies and Best Use Studies, he selects Operators to secure optimum management contract terms and assists with Design and Procurement. Given his strong hotel operations background, he also provides hotel operators with on-going OwnCo representation.
David was involved in the development and opening of over 30 hotels in locations in wide and diverse regions including the United Kingdom, Spain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Lebanon.
David has worked globally on commercial hospitality assignments, with particular focus on Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Based between London and Dubai, David held senior corporate positions with Habtoor Hospitality, InterContinental Hotels Group and Millennium Copthorne.
